freeaddrinfo()

Free a list of address information structures

Synopsis:

#include <sys/types.h>
#include <sys/socket.h>
#include <netdb.h>

void freeaddrinfo( struct addrinfo * ai );

Arguments:

ai

A pointer to the addrinfo structure that's at the beginning of the list to be freed.

Library:

libsocket

Use the -l socket option to qcc to link against this library.

Description:

The freeaddrinfo() function frees the given list of addrinfo structures and the dynamic storage associated with each item in the list.

Classification:

POSIX 1003.1
